My First Blog

Well, I"m new to this bloggin thing so hope I don't disappoint. I have so many things that I want to talk about but I"ll take it slow. A little about me....I'm 39, mom of 3 kids aged 11, 7 and 4, have 2 adorable puppies-Spyro(Bichon) and Fenway(Yorki poo), proud owner and creator of http://www.glittermom.com/ (check it out!!) and http://www.glitterpup.com/ , I LOVE the Red Sox and Patriots and sports in general(I am watching the Sox win right now), Love to read but never have the time, work as a nurse in a Cardiac Rehab center(a few hours/week), despise the Yankees!!!! , love being a mom, feel my life is completely crazy and unmanageable but wouldn't have it any other way. This craziness, to me, is what life is all about. Easy is boring. Life requires challenges or you wouldn't grow. My favorite saying, LIVE LOVE LAUGH sums up all that I wish for my family, though there are many days that I have nothing to laugh about. Even on these days, I try to be thankful for the wonderful gifts I have. Focusing on the positive is sometimes easier said than done. I am thankful at this moment that my 3 kids are happy, healthy and well adjusted, though this was not the case for my oldest son until very recently. He is now 11, and has been living with a chronic disease since he was a baby. Diagnosed with Crohn's disease at the age of 4, he has been sick for a good part of his life. He has had surgeries and has been hospitalized more than a little one should ever have to experience. He is my hero since he has taken all of this in stride. He takes countless medications daily and will have to for the rest of his life. He has endured so much and is wise beyond his years. So...a little bit about my life. I've got plenty more to say and would love to hear from others who have perfect children like mine
